Trump's Granddaughter Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

The rising star has considerable online following

Kai Trump can count on multiple well-known backers as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, owns multiple golf courses and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Just stay calm."

"My grandpa essentially advised me to go out there and relax," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events recently and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

However she's able to get advice from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He advised me to compete, relax, following whatever happens."

Kai will face multiple top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to wider groups, specifically among youth audiences.

The young star has substantial online presence and just introduced her own apparel and wellness company.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
