The Comedy Series Brassic Ends Its Run with Tarantino-Inspired Last Episode

Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are concluding on their comedy series about a tight-knit bunch of endearing rogues running riot in a countryside town in Lancashire. One could anticipate the last episode to be a nostalgic highlight reel of booze, drugs and cheeky thievery. However, the vibes are distinctly darker as the character Vinnie, played by Gilgun and the crew barricade themselves in a bar with gangster Davey MacDonagh for a climactic 50th episode apparently inspired by Quentin Tarantino.

The Show Dragons' Den

8pm, BBC One
Dancers from the ballet world enter the den this week, as mothers Laura and Stacey pitch their range of adaptive dance attire – and cause Peter Jones to become flustered. Next, an eye surgeon turned inventor has a smart device for lost tape ends.

All Creatures Great and Small

9pm on Channel 5
The veterinary adventures are all fine, but this excellent historical series proves its worth with tender character work. A particularly affecting episode weaves the stories of a injured draft horse and a vanished calf into a deeper plotline focusing on Tristan, whose actions lead to a brotherly confrontation.

The Drama The Hack

9pm on ITV1
The journey has been lengthy. Yet the second-to-last episode of this at first slow-moving but ultimately compelling series about phone hacking sees David Tennant’s Nick uncovering information about the actions of the News of the World that the rest of the media simply can’t ignore. Things are also looking up for the character Dave, who has a surprising new ally.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK

9pm, BBC Three
Prepare for enthusiastic gestures: it’s time to stage Peter Pansy – The Rusical! That means the pressure is on for the drag performers to sing, dance, act and finally impress as they prepare for the production. And what better guest judge than West End stage legend Mazz Murray, alongside the panel including Graham Norton, Michelle Visage, and RuPaul.

The Iris Affair

9pm on Sky Atlantic
Those with a phobia of creepy crawlies will want to skip ahead as episode six begins, before something of a Mexican (or rather Sardinian) standoff occurs, when Cameron forces Iris to exchange her journal for the hostaged Joy – else she’ll be “riddled with bullets” from Meski’s menacing drone … How to get out of this one?
