"We support him. Complete backing," Adebayo said. "We are with him all the way. That's our brother ultimately."

"Our thoughts are with him and support for him as he goes through this."

The Trail Blazers additionally won their first game since the arrests, with Brazil-born Splitter stepping in as interim coach in Chauncey's absence and leading the squad to a decisive 139-119 victory over the Warriors.

League Commissioner Adam Silver 'Disturbed' over Arrests

Addressing the detentions for the first time, league head Adam Silver said he was "very upset" by the incidents of the past few days.

"It was brought to our attention by the authorities and the gambling firms," he added.

"We investigated the matter and were very transparent about it. And while there was the unusual wagering, we, honestly, couldn't find anything.

"So, we've been cooperating since then. And, of course, what they announced yesterday was an charge.

"Moreover two and a half years after, he has not been found guilty of anything, in justice to Rozier.

"Obviously, it appears unfavorable, but he's been put on administrative leave, and so it is a balance in this case between protecting people's rights and conducting an inquiry."
